When Beck sets herself a challenge, it’s always to go big. In making the transition from endurance runner to triathlete, Beck set her sights on the full distance Ironman in Dec 2023. On a warm, sunny day in seaside town of Busselton in Perth, Australia Beck made her debut in spectacular fashion. Earning herself a qualifying spot in the 2024 Ironman World Championships in Nice, France. “the 3.8km swim was my least strongest discipline, and it was a huge challenge to overcome. On the 180km bike, I knew it would be a long one but I just held onto and kept pushing, it was on the 42.2km run that it all felt like it came together”
